The No-Fuss Way to Remove Hard Water Stains
Without the right strategy, removing hard water stains can be a lengthy, tiresome process. Fortunately, this cleaning task doesn't require quite as much effort when you know the simple trick for breaking down mineral buildup caused by hard water. So, if you've been spending too much time scrubbing at hard water stains, then here's an alternative (far easier) method of dealing with this common cleaning problem.
Step 1. Obtain a container of white vinegar and a roll of paper towels.
Step 2. Rip some paper towels from the roll and saturate the sheets with undiluted white vinegar.
Step 3. Place the vinegar-soaked paper towels on any areas with visible hard water stains.
Step 4. Leave the vinegar-soaked paper towels in place overnight. This will help break down any mineral buildup, so the hard water stains will be easier to remove.
Step 5. The next morning, remove the paper towels (you may need to wet them down again) and use a sponge to wipe away any remaining mineral buildup.
Step 6. Thoroughly rinse the affected area and dispose of the old paper towels.
After following the six simple steps listed above, your hard water stains should now be a thing of the past. Hopefully, by pre-soaking the hard water stains overnight in vinegar, your cleaning task was quick and hassle-free, thus giving you more time to spend on other, more enjoyable, activities.
